our history
HerStory was established in October 2023 after Bria Jackson received a clear and direct spiritual prompting during a church service. As her mother prayed and interceded for the next generation, Bria felt the Lord instruct her to begin a consistent prayer fellowship with her siblings. From that moment of obedience, an unexpected movement began.
What started as a small family prayer circle quickly became a place of spiritual breakthrough, emotional release, and divine revelation. As the prayer gatherings continued, God expanded the vision and revealed that this assignment was not exclusively for her family but for women everywhere in need of community, support, and faith-based guidance.
From these humble beginnings, HerStory has evolved into a structured foundation serving women across various stages of life. The organization continues to grow under the belief that God uses every woman’s story whether marked by challenges, victories, healing, or transformation for a greater purpose.
Purpose and Identity
HerStory exists to create a safe, faith-based environment where women can openly share their stories, receive support, and experience spiritual and personal growth.
The foundation is guided by three central commitments:
